Carbon brake pads are mandatory if you are running carbon wheels.  These are approved for our C50, C40, C24 Rim brake wheelsets.

-Quieter braking than Shimano RC44 factory pads

-These wear more quickly, but also create less wear on the the more expensive component….the rim.

-Typical replacement needed at 5-7K miles

-Never Mix carbon and aluminum wheels unless your swap pads out as well.  Alloy embeds into the pad material and can score and damage carbon braking tracks.
